STUDENT CONDUCT
7321 Smoking

The Board of Education recognizes the health hazards associated with smoking and, therefore, prohibits smoking or the use of tobacco-related products by students in school buildings, on school property or at school-sponsored activities.

Tobacco includes cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, chewing tobacco, snuff, and any other product made from the tobacco plant.

Students caught violating this policy will be subject to disciplinary penalties.

This policy must be prominently posted in each school building.
